NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks and Southern Methodist Mustangs tied 4-4 in Sunday's English competition, but it was the Ladyjacks who took the raw point wing, 541-538.

In equitation over fences, the Ladyjacks took the 3-1 win with wins coming from Shannon Zelikoff, Randi Spencer, and Kristin Landes. SFA outscored SMU, 235-224.

The Mustangs turned right around and took the 3-1 win in equitation on the flat. Randi Spencer took the sole point for the Ladyjacks with a 79-77 win. SMU's raw point total was just seven more than SFA, 314-306.

The Ladyjacks return to the arena next Sunday for an all day event against the Auburn Tigers from the Walter C. Todd Equine Center.
