NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks defeated UT-Martin 11-5 in Saturday's equine competition. The Ladyjacks dominated the western portion 7-1, highlighted by a 4-0 score in the reining competition. In western horsemanship the Ladyjacks got wins from Kayla Krambeck, Kyra Cruse and Jenny Martin. Martin was named MVP with a score of 78.

In equitation over fences, Mary Margaret Fly of UT-Martin was named MVP with a score of 91. In equitation on the flat, the Ladyjacks' Shannon Zelikoff was named MVP with a score of 90.

The Ladyjacks got wins from Jenny Martin, Jamie Malgares, Monika Thompson and Kayle Bemal in reining. Bemal took home the MVP with a score of 72.

This was the Ladyjacks final competition of the regular season. In their last competition for the Ladyjacks, seniors Monika Thompson and Jamie Melgares got 2 and 1 points respectively.

The Ladyjacks close out the season with a record of 6-4.
