COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Stephen F. Austin's Amy Hilfer has qualified for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association's Zone 7 Championships. Hilfer finished second Sunday in the walk trot division of the IHSA Regional Championships at Texas A&M to earn the trip to Zones.

Hilfer also competed in the beginner division of western horsemanship. She finished fourth in that discipline, just missing on the chance to advance to Zones in both English and Western riding.

Hilfer will compete in the Zone 7 Championships at Oklahoma State, in Stillwater, Okla., on Sunday, April 9.
