    Ladyjacks End First Day of Kiawah Classic 27th

    KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack golf team recorded an opening-round 329 Sunday afternoon on the par 72 on the Oak Point Golf Club Course. The Ladyjacks finished the day 27th overall.

    Junior Aliece Anderson and freshman Mackenzie Steiner paced SFA with a score of 81 to finish the day tied for 89th. Senior Allison Flake is two strokes behind the Ladyjacks' leading duo and enters the Monday's round of 18 holes tied for 115th. Junior Rose Henderson recorded the team's fourth-lowest score with an 84 (T125th), while senior Chelsea Simmons is tied for 130th with an 85.

    The Ladyjacks will return to the course Monday morning for the second round of action.
