    SUGAR LAND, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin women's golf team recorded a 328-337 - 665 on the opening day of the HBU Women's Intercollegiate in Houston, Texas, and enter Tuesday's final round 11th overall.

    The Ladyjacks are being led by Chelsea Simmons who is tied for 23rd with a 78-82 - 160. Sophomore Rose Henderson had the lowest opening round of any one on the team with a 77, but struggled in the second round closing out the day with a 169. Henderson is currently 48th overall.

    Sophomore Aliece Anderson is three strokes back of Henderson following Monday's action. Anderson enters the final day tied for 53rd overall. Junior Allison Flake is tied for 56th with an opening day 173. Junior Sara Jones rounded out the SFA scoring with consecutive rounds of 87. She is tied for 60th overall.

    SFA closes out the HBU Women's Intercollegiate Tuesday morning.
