Ladyjacks Finish Tied for Eight at ULM

MONROE, La. - The Stephen F. Austin women's golf team fired a 314-308-309 - 931 to finish tied for eighth at the 2013 ULM Fred Marx Invitational Tuesday afternoon in Monroe, La. The Ladyjacks had four players record career low rounds at the season-opening tournament.
The Ladyjacks were led by sophomore Sydney Reed, who fired a 76 (226) in the final round to finish T13. Freshman Jessica White recorded an eight-over 80 in the final day to finish T38 (234) during her SFA debut.
Freshman Piper Kyle was steady in her debut as a Ladyjack. She closed the day with an 81 to finish (T42) 237 for the tournament. Senior Aliece Anderson and Rosie Henderson closed out the scoring for SFA. Anderson bounced back Tuesday to record her tournament low 77, and was tied for 48th overall with a 239. Henderson finished two strokes back with a 241 (T53).
The Ladyjacks will return to action Monday, Sept. 30, at the ORU Shootout in Tulsa, Okla.
