Box Score

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team recorded its first shutout of the season Friday night. Unfortunately, the Ladyjacks were also blanked themselves, as they played Texas-San Antonio to a 0-0 tie. The double-overtime deadlock moves SFA's record to 5-3-2 on the season and 1-0-1 in Southland Conference play.

Ladyjack goalkeeper Crystin Pactor played all 110 minutes and posted seven saves in recording the second shutout of her career. The seven saves are Pactor's third-best total this season.

After playing 90 minutes of regulation without a goal, neither team even got a shot off in the first overtime period. SFA took aim twice in the second overtime. The first shot, off the foot of Kelli Wilson, nearly found its mark but clanged harmlessly off the post.

For the game, Texas-San Antonio outshot the Ladyjacks, 13-11. SFA recorded four shots on goal. Leading scorer Erika Palmacci took two shots, both of which were on goal.

The Ladyjacks will be back in action Sunday when they travel to San Marcos to take on Texas State. The game is set for a 1 p.m. start.
