    Ladyjacks' Michalezki Receives SLC Honor

    PLANO, Texas - For the second consecutive week junior Natascia Michalezki has been named Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Week announced league officials Tuesday afternoon. It is the fourth time this season that a Ladyjack has received a player of the week honor.

    Michalezki guided the Ladyjacks to consecutive shutout road victories over Louisiana-Monroe and Northwestern State last week. Michalezki played 195 minutes, recorded 15 saves without surrendering a goal, helping SFA jump out to league-best 5-0-0 record.

    The Ladyjacks have only surrendered two goals during SLC play this season and have recorded three consecutive shutouts. SFA has outscored its opponents 23-2 during that stretch.

    Michalezki has been named SLC Goalkeeper of the Week nine times in her career.
