The Ladyjack softball split its games Saturday at the Lady Vol Classic, winning its first game of the day, 3-2 over the University of Virginia, but losing in the night cap 5-4 to Tennessee.

Morgan Tolleson came on in relief of Kristin Nolan to pick up the win. Tolleson pitched three shutout innings in giving up only one run. With the scored tied at 2-2 in the top of the seventh inning, Sascha Taylor led off with a single and evenatually came around to score the winning run when Jaime Brown reached on an error.

Tolleson retired the side in order in the bottom half of the inning and SFA moved to 16-21 on the season.

In game two, the Ladyjacks led 4-1 going into the bottom of the sixth inning, but a four run inning by Tennessee, highlighted by a three run home run off the bat of Rachael Wink gave the Vols a 5-4 win. The Ladyjacks are 4-11 in one run games.
