Ladyjacks Fall in Colorado

BOULDER, Colo. - The No.-72 ranked the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team dropped 6-1 decision at Colorado Saturday in Boulder. The loss drops SFA to 0-4 on the season.
SFA jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after taking victories at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles to pick up the point. The Ladyjacks rallied to win the final two doubles matches after dropping an 8-4 decision at the No. 2 spot.
SFA was unable to hold the momentum as the Buffaloes rallied to pick up wins at Nos. 2 and 3 singles to take a one-point lead, 2-1. CU added to its lead with their straight-set victory at No. 1 singles. The deciding point came at the No. 4 singles position where freshman Margot de Haan dropped a 6-1, 6-1, decision to CU's Carla Manzi Tenorio.
SFA will be back in action Sunday against Northern Colorado. The match against Bears is slated to begin at 11 a.m.
