MONROE, La. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team was shutout out by Louisiana-Monroe Saturday, 7-0. The Ladyjacks are now 5-3 (.625) overall and 2-1 (.667) in the Southland Conference.

The Lady Indians jumped out to an early 1-0 lead sweeping all three doubles matches and never looked back. Freshman Robin Houston (Shreveport, La.) pushed the Lady Indians' Veronica Perez at No. 4 singles but finally fell, 6-3, 7-5, in tough match.

The Ladyjacks look to return to their winning ways Sunday against Northwestern State. The match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., from Natchitoches, La.
