HAMMOND, La. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team lost to Southeastern Louisiana, 7-0, Sunday afternoon in Hammond. The Ladyjacks are now 6-13 (.316) overall and 1-8 (.111) in the Southland Conference.

The Lady Lions took a 1-0 lead after sweeping the all three doubles matches. Junior Kama Scott played a tough match at No. 6 singles but eventually fell to Southeastern's Bonnie Phillips, 7-5, 6-3. SFA was unable to dent the scoreboard as the Lady Lions rattled off five more singles wins.

The Ladyjacks return to action Thursday when they host Sam Houston State. The match against the Bearkats is slated to get under way at 2 p.m., from the SFA Tennis Courts.
