DENTON, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team dropped its third consecutive match Friday, losing to North Texas by the score of 6-1. The Ladyjacks fall to 6-8 (.429) on the season.

For the fourth consecutive match SFA lost the doubles point to fall behind 1-0. North Texas kept the momentum by picking up victories at Nos. 1-3 singles. Freshman Robin Houston (Shreveport, La.) put the Ladyjacks on the board with her 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) victory over North Texas' Benita Bittner at No. 4 singles. But the Lady Eagles closed out the match with wins at Nos. 5 and 6 singles.

SFA returns to action tomorrow to take on Texas-Arlington. The match is slated to begin at 10 a.m., from Arlington.
