NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks will open the second half of their competition against Prairie View A&M Saturday before taking on Houston Sunday. The matches will take place at Hoff Courts on the University of Houston campus.

"I am excited to see how the ladies have progressed since our final event in November," said Ladyjack head coach Bret Arrant. "Prairie View has a solid team with some scrappy and athletic players. The University of Houston also has a strong team but we hope to fare better this year than last."

The Ladyjacks enter the spring with a young roster that has four underclassmen in its top six. Arrant has three freshmen - Roxana Enica, Rijalda Zejnic, and Tatiana Smolnikova - in the top six along with two seniors, Laura Harrison and Lauren Nowicki. Sophomore Gabriela Gadeva completes SFA's seeding.

"We are a little young but the talent is there to help compensate for the inexperience," said Arrant.
