PLANO, Texas - Junior Kama Scott was named as a second-team All-Southland Conference selection at No. 6 singles announced conference officials Thursday afternoon. Scott was one of only two Americans named to either the first or second team.

Scott led the Ladyjacks and was among the league leaders with her 21-9 (.700) overall record this past season. She recorded a 15-5 (.750) mark during the spring season, including a near flawless 8-2 (.800) record in Southland Conference matches. Scott will enter senior season with 36 singles wins and 24 doubles victories.
