Head coach Roberto Aspillaga was, "Pleased with the way we competed today. The girls did a better job working through the nerves and stepping up to the plate. I am especially happy for Laura and Lera, who have trained hard since the summer, and are now seeing some of that hard work pay off. I am also exited about our doubles tomorrow. Lera and Macarena have been playing well together all week and Laura and Rachel had a great win to start the tournament."
