RUSTON, Louisiana -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjack volleyball team defeated Louisiana Tech in three games 15-12, 15-9, 15-10.

Junior, middle blocker Kristy Rhodes led the Ladyjacks to this victory with a hitting percentage of .400. Rhodes had 17 kills, 35 total attempts and only three errors for the night. Rhodes is currently eighth in the nation kills. She has 311 kills for the 2000 season. Rhodes continued her success with three service aces, 14 digs and three block assists.

The Ladyjacks will be back in action this weekend as they host a two-game home stand. On Friday, October 20, the Ladyjacks will face Nicholls State at 7:00 PM. On Saturday, October 21, they will be playing Southeastern Louisiana at 4:00 PM. All matches are played in William R. Johnson Coliseum. For ticket information, please call 468-jack.
